1) ULTRAMODERN AND DIVERSIFIED EQUIPMENT :

Recently, Suedart made a major investment by acquiring fully automated cleaning machines, certified to secure a constant quality of cleaning at all times.

Whith these new machines, the injection of additives (oil + detergent), the cleaning cycle, the solvent temperature, the tumbling speed and the drying temperature are now under computerized control.

Additionally, we elaborated a special program for each class of skin (pigskin, cowhide, sheepskin and others) in order to achieve the best possible results.

Suedart uses three different cleaning processes so as to optimize results depending on the type of skins and the nature of the stains to be treated.

Cleaning process utilization level :

Perc 40%
Aqua cleaning 35%
Synthetic petroleum 25%

CLEANING PROCESS

Each cleaning process has its advantages and inconveniences, but Suedart is fortunate to be able to choose from an array of three cleaning treatments depending on the garment type.

1) PERC :

Approximately 40% of garments received are cleaned with perc.

ADVANTAGES :

  • Excellent cleaning power.
  • Best for oil, grease and paint.

INCONVENIENCES :

  • Provides greater loss of color than aqua cleaning or varsol.
  • Difficulty in removing blood, food, sweat, milk products, alcohol, liquor, etc. stains.

2) AQUA CLEANING :

Almost 35% of garments received (Clean & Green) are aqua-cleaned.

ADVANTAGES :

  • Eliminates loss of colors.
  • Best for food, vomit, mud, mildew and blood stains.

INCONVENIENCES :

  • May cause more shrinkage of the skin that will necessitate reblocking.

3) PETROLEUM :

Odorless synthetic petroleum (represents nearly 25 % of our production)

This solvent has the same qualities and failings than perc, excepting that it is less powerful. As a result, it will remove less dirt than perc, but will cause a lesser degree of color loss.

As you can see, no process has yet reached perfection.

However, our experience in working with these different processes makes it possible for us to always select the one best suited to the garment.

2) AN EXPERIENCED AND SPECIALIZED PERSONNEL:

Our staff turnover is very low thus enabling us to obtain a great stability in our performance results. Our key jobs are occupied by employees averaging 20 years in experience with the Company.

Quarterly, our managerial staff travels to the U.S. to learn new techniques liable to improve our quality.

This new knowledge is then communicated to our production personnel, thus ensuring a continuous training of our employees.

3) INCOMPARABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE :

Put an end to the arduous negotiations with your customer whenever a complication occurs.

Our trained personnel will take over for you and reach a satisfying solution with him without any undue delay.

In others words, we support you at 100% and we will keep you clear, as much as possible, from any involvement as an intermediary.

4) FINAL INSPECTION GETS THE OWNER O.K.:

It is rather the exception than the rule for a company's owner, who, normally, supervises from his office, to insist on seeing each product leaving his plant. In fact, this is happening at Suedart.

Our owner, carries out an actual inspection of each garment at the finishing stage to ascertain quality and avoid any returns.
